comfort

alright, so this shirt wasn't handed down or thrifted, but it is honestly the most comfortable tee ive bought to date. its super thin, pretty shear and has the feel of a tee thats been washed a hundred times without the ugly pilling. On sale at Urban for $9.99- By Corpus.

You'll want to sleep in it, wake up in it, wear it out.

under my thumb

Thrifted Rolling Stones 1989 Northern American Tour Tee , Vintage Forenza leather belt, Wet Seal white skinny jeans. Anne Klein Gold lion cuff bracelet

I cut off the top of the shirt so it would fall off my shoulders, maybe i shouldn't have destroyed it considering i saw an identical shirt at a vintage shop in greenwich village going for $140. Mind you, i payed $2.99 at my local Goodwill... Absurd

a quick photoshoot

me and mel had a fashion-y photoshoot for fun with the lovely lauren kelly. i took some behind the scenes shots with my own camera. I havent even seen the actual photos yet. From what i peaked on Laurens camera, Mel looks amazing. As for my partaking... it was kind of a joke. Im not much of a model. I cant help but look a little goofy when i pose. Here's a couple shots of the shoot. All the outfits were thrifted except for the destroyed urban renewal levi's shorts in the third picture. I need a place to wear that black jumpsuit. I love it so much but it's something i cant just stroll around town in. Someone offer me up an event to wear it too.

Alright, so i caved in

Yep, I have just signed myself up to yet another blog, this time around I'm focusing on fashion. Now this will be nothing like your favorite fashion blogs such as fashion toast or dirty flaws. I'm not nearly skinny or trendy enough be blogging about some crazy looking high end runway shit that only fits emaciated looking models. Don't get me wrong, im not hating on these ladies. Im actually a daily reader, but lets be realistic here. I'm a broke college grad with barely any pocket change to spare and the little extra spending money i put towards fast food and bargain shopping. Quite frankly, i don't even truly understand the first thing about todays fashion and upcoming trends. So this blog i present to you is just a blog of my personal style and love for moth ball scented thrifted clothing i find in my local goodwill's and other secondhand stores. There will be plenty of silly outfits, perhaps some themed dress up's and hopefully plenty of DIY. This blog will absolutely NOT be updated everyday, for i also have my other blog to attend to. I'll keep you posted.
