get it for LE$$
ive been trying to stay away from posts relating to *NEW* or unthrifted items. Kind of defeats the purpose of this blog. But as a compulsive shopper - and a smart one i would say, I'm always looking for a deal, a way to save my buck, when im shopping online or in a mall. I ALOT better at thrifting than i am a shopper at actual clothing stores. I tend to get anxiety when i see how much some shit costs now a days. But if you do a little research before you jump to the purchase- you can find items of interest at a complete steal. I web browse PLANET BLUE all the time. The clothing is beautiful. but such heavenly peices come with a heavy price tag. I noticed this Sheer tiered maxi dress today. It looks almos like a nightgown, but is still so elegant looking. Also would be an amazing throw over for a nice hot summer day down the shore. Comfortable but still looking stunning. i thought the asking price of $120 was a little much. But then again im used to paying no more than $6 for most of the stuff i wear. With a little bit of research on thee item- i found it on SPANISH MOSS for nearly $50 LESS than what i originally found it going for. Now at $72 bucks... still Alot.. but it is a really beautiful piece. I could shell out $72 dollars on dinner and drinks for one night.... or buy a fancy new dress for hot summer night beach parties.... hmmm? Well take a look.. what do you think?...

call me PROfashionable
As some of you may know, im a graphic designer by day- thrifter by nights and weekends. One of my biggest challenges while on the hunt for that spectacular thrifted piece is finding FASHIONABLE work clothes. I mean lets be real here, ME ... in business wear, HA!, it's a total joke. as if the tattoos, piercing and long knotty bleached hair didn't throw the whole corporate world off its axis. I sit behind a computer for 9 hours monday- friday in an office/print shop with no windows. I work with everything from 6'ft printers, lamination machines to glue sticks and spray mount. Sometimes i need to sprawl myself across the ground just to mount anything over 4'ft long. The last thing i really need to be wearing is nice EXPENSIVE work clothes. It would wind up getting ruined with my luck. But the fact of the matter is i still work with EXTREMELY important people in the liquor business and never know when someone s going to come strolling into my office, so i always have to look somewhat put together. Anyways, i was super inspired by this outfit styled by noirohio vintage. The blazer sold for $70, which in my honest opinion is a great price for a beautifully fitted wool blazer. Most well fitted blazers i find are well over $100. I went on a thrifting hunt for a camel colored blazer, tried on at least 15 and FINALLY found THEE ONE. and it only cost me $4 dollars. im speechless! I even paired it with a neutral colored plaid button up like the noirohio one! I'm in love.
