As some of you may know, im a graphic designer by day- thrifter by nights and weekends. One of my biggest challenges while on the hunt for that spectacular thrifted piece is finding FASHIONABLE work clothes. I mean lets be real here, ME ... in business wear, HA!, it's a total joke. as if the tattoos, piercing and long knotty bleached hair didn't throw the whole corporate world off its axis. I sit behind a computer for 9 hours monday- friday in an office/print shop with no windows. I work with everything from 6'ft printers, lamination machines to glue sticks and spray mount. Sometimes i need to sprawl myself across the ground just to mount anything over 4'ft long. The last thing i really need to be wearing is nice EXPENSIVE work clothes. It would wind up getting ruined with my luck. But the fact of the matter is i still work with EXTREMELY important people in the liquor business and never know when someone s going to come strolling into my office, so i always have to look somewhat put together. Anyways, i was super inspired by this outfit styled by noirohio vintage. The blazer sold for $70, which in my honest opinion is a great price for a beautifully fitted wool blazer. Most well fitted blazers i find are well over $100. I went on a thrifting hunt for a camel colored blazer, tried on at least 15 and FINALLY found THEE ONE. and it only cost me $4 dollars. im speechless! I even paired it with a neutral colored plaid button up like the noirohio one! I'm in love.
